North East Scotland College is a Further and Higher Education College with campuses and learning centres based in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire. The technician training operates at their Altens site which is home to engineering, construction and automotive.  Facilities at the site include a restaurant and a state-of-the-art fitness suite.

Edinburgh College, 46 Dalhousie Road, Dalkeith, Edinburgh, EH22 3FR 

Edinburgh College has around 26,000 students studying across four campuses in Edinburgh and the Lothians.  The technician training takes place in Dalkeith at the Midlothian Campus.  The technology teaching centre features an Oil Production Platform Simulator, specialist engineering and construction equipment and purpose built electrical workshops.

The Midlothian Campus has a wide range of facilities which not only provides students with excellent, real-life working environments but also offers high quality, low cost restaurants, exercise and leisure amenities.
